J.D. Bone Memorial Trust Grant
Through the generosity of the Bone family, we
were very pleased to make available another
Grant this year of $1500.00 to an organisation
for a gardening activity.
Mr. J.D. (John David) Bone worked in the family
business of W. Bone & Sons Nursery that was at
the forefront of the growing, promotion and
supply of celery seedlings throughout
Victoria.
Last
year we awarded the grant to Ringwood Community
Garden in Wantirna
to build a pathway to allow for
access to their raised garden bed area.
The pathway has enabled further usage of the site by groups
with limited mobility and/or physical impairment
with walking frames or wheelchairs
to access the raised garden beds.
Please find following the guidelines for the
J.D. Bone Trust Grant.
